Add your Anthropic API key to begin using Claude models in the platform—including the prompt playground, LLM-as-a-judge evaluations, and (on Enterprise) managed agents.
By adding this integration, your data may be sent to Anthropic for certain actions within Arize AX (e.g., prompt playground, managed agents) and your account may be billed for usage.

Expand the Advanced Settings section to configure the following:
  • Supports Function Calling - Turn this on to allow the integration to use function calling features. This is on by default.
  • Authorized Orgs - Configure which organizations have access to this integration.
  • Authorized Spaces - Configure which spaces have access to this integration.

Add the Integration

Finally check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, then select the Add Integration button to create the integration.

Use with managed agents

On Enterprise, Claude Code in managed agents can run on your Anthropic key instead of the Arize-managed default.
1

Create the Anthropic integration

Add the provider as above. Creating AI Providers requires Organization Admin or Account Admin access.
2

Allow use in agents

Enable Allow use in agents on the integration, or add it from More → Agent Integrations (Add Agent Integration), which opts the key into agent use automatically.
3

Select the integration

Choose it on an agent preset, in Agent Studio, when enabling Signal, or as the space default under Space Settings.
Enterprises that must not use Arize-managed models can request that Arize disable the Arize-managed integration—contact your Arize account team.
