server_info. Each one wraps a single REST API v2 operation and takes the same arguments as the endpoint behind it, so the endpoint reference is the place to look for full response schemas.
The Stage column shows each tool’s release stage (Alpha, Beta, or Stable), inherited from the REST operation it wraps. See API version stages for what each stage means for reliability and breaking changes.
Every tool listed here is read-only today. Create, update, and delete tools are on the roadmap and will ship incrementally in future releases.

Projects
Projects are the usual entry point. An agent that knows your project ID can reach traces, spans, and tasks from there.Prompts
get_prompt_label is the tool to reach for when you want the prompt your app is actually serving rather than the newest draft.
Server info
Useful for confirming which deployment you reached and which protocol revision it speaks.

Traces and spans
Point your agent at a specific trace when you are debugging. Asking it to list spans across a busy project without filters will burn through pages and tell you very little.
